Favourite TV Series

Hi, humans!
Now I'm incredibly busy, I'll have my exam this friday so I need to learn a lot. And most of my friends actually are on holidays right now when I have to spend my time with books, but I'll have my time later till the 9th of February. Anyway, for me winter time it's time of TV series. The 2014 was a year of series for me, I watched quite a lot of them although previously I didn't like them at all.
So, now I want to talk about my favourite one. Maybe it will give you some inspiration what to watch.

 1. American Horror Story
Country: USA
Year: 2011- now
Genre: thriller, horror
Seasons: 4
Episodes: 12 in the first season, 13 in others
I love the fact that each season has its own story. Pretty creepy and soooo intresting, Absolutly love the second and the fourth seasons, the third is my least favourite one, it was rather boring. But still, I love it so much.

 2. Homeland
Country: USA
Year: 2011- now
Genre: serial drama, psychological thriller, political thriller
Seasons: 4
Episodes: 12 in each season.
It's a series about CIA. And it was surprising for me that I actually loved it. I'm not a fan of such things, but this is so good. The story is very intense and you always want to know what's next. And I didn't expect that creators would be able to keep it intresting wih every next season because sometimes I had a feeling like "What can they add? It's over? What intresting can happen afterwards?" And you know what? They always find something to add! Love it.

3. Supernatural
Country: USA
Year: 2005- now
Genre: horror, fantasy, action, etc.
Seasons: 10
Episodes: 16-23 in season
It was actually the first series I watched properly. It's the beggining of my love for series. Pretty actors, creepy creators, angels, nowdays... Good mix, I think. But by the 6th season you get ennoyed by this weird brother-relationship. Sometimes it's way too girly, I think. But still, I keep watching it :)

4. The Big Bang Theory
Country: USA
Year: 2007- now
Genre: sitcom
Seasons: 8
Episodes: 17-24 in season
So hilarious! I mostly watch pretty serious things, not that funny, but sometimes I really need to watch something simply funny and that's what I love to watch. Yes, sometimes it's hard to understand what they're talking about especially for me as a non-native english speaker(and I watch it in English) but still I love it so much. Right now I'm only watching the 3rd season but absolutely obsessed.

5. The Walking Dead
Country: USA
Year: 2010- now
Genre: serial drama, horror
Seasons: 5
Episodes: 6-16 in season
All my company started watching it almost at the same time, but there're only two of us who've watched all episodes which exist. And I like it a lot, not my favourite, but still really good to watch :) And zombies are really well made, that's a huge plus :)

6. Salem
Country: USA
Year: 2014- now
Genre: serial drama, horror
Seasons: 1
Episodes: 13
This is also quite unusual choice for me. Didn't expect I'd like it but I did. I even have a response from their official twitter account and they follow me :) But the only thing I don't like that much it's women characters. Almost all of them are pretty mediocre which sucks because the story is nice. Will see what they'll do in the second season which starts this month.

7. Penny Dreadful
Country: USA
Year: 2014- now
Genre: drama, horror, thriller
Seasons: 1
Episodes: 8
One more horror series, the last one, I promise :) As you can see from the twit above, I couldn't decide which one to watch, I actually watched episodes from both series that night :) The episodes here are much longer but more creepier and more intense. In my view, it's deeper then other horror series I watch. Can't wait to see the second season this spring!

8. Sex and the City
Country: USA
Year: 1998-2004
Genre: romantic comedy, comedy drama
Seasons: 6
Episodes: 8-20 in season
I'm pretty sure a lot of you knows/watched this series. And I think it's one of those things whether you like it or hate it. I heard lots of people absolutely hate it. But I'm a part of those who love it. And even though I think it's the reason of me being so cynical, I believe there's a lot of really good thoughts. And isn't it incredible that although it's been 10 years since the last episode came out, it's still up to date. Those problems are still topical, in my view. But I actually think it was too early for me to watch it entirely, it's better to do when you're much older :)

9. Friends
Country: USA
Year: 1994-2004
Genre: sitcom
Seasons: 10
Episodes: 18-25 in each season
Who doesn't like it? I believe it's the best series ever! Very kind, so hilarious, so inspiring and life-asserting. My favourite character is Phibie but most of my friends actually dislike her the most :( She's so funny and she never gives up no matter what happens to her. I think we can learn a lot from her as well as from others. They are all so unique and intresting to watch. And the power of their friendship is incredible. I think I'm gonna rewatch it entirely this year again because I need to get that inspiration to believe in friendship again(weird, I know, but it helps me). Just the best of the best :)

That's all from me! Let me know what is your favourite tv show in comments! I'd love to find something new.
Have a nice day :)
Ciao!

New Year 2015 Presents

 Hi, humans!
As I told, I'm from Russia and if you know we don't celebrate Christmas like most of the world. The first, we have it later, the 7th of January, the second, it's 100% religious holiday, people just go to the church and have a small dinner, no presents required. But we have all this fun at the New Year's eve. So I'd like to share not all but my favourite presents this year.
The first, it's a perfum, Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs. It's from my mum. I've wanted it for the whole year but hadn't had an opportunity to buy it so my mym made my wish come true. Absolutely my favourite parfume :)
The second is a mug. It was made by one my good friend(actually two of them, but I don't think the second friend really wanted to give me anything, we are not friends anymore) and it has my name on the other side :) And it's dirty as I'm currently drinking my tomato juice. By the way, let me know in the comments if you like it because none of my friends like it :(
The third it's aquarelle pencils. I have a set of ordinary colour pencils from this brand and I love them, so my mum decided ti give me an unusual set to improve my creativity :) Really need to start drawing again, really miss it.
The fourth is a book which is headlined "This is not a book" by Keri Smith. It's from the same guy who gave me the mug. When I saw it I rememberd "The Pointless book" by PointlessBlog on youtube. This thing is incredible! It's fuul of different tasks like for example the page 27 says "This is a black space. Think of nothing. How many examples of nothing can you think of? Draw nothing here". Isn't it cool? Definitely the best thing I've recieved :)
And the fifth thing on the backgroun is also from that person. It's a candle holder. It's funny that he gave me the Eiffel Tower. The thing is that I'm learning French in the university and I actually hate it. And then he gave me this. Good friend, what can I say :)

I also got tons of little presents, like some statues, candies, a notebook, a jewelery box, candles and so on, but there's not point to show all those small but cute things.
These are my sister and I, we both were animals that night :) I'm absolutely in love with this sweater and my friends are too, for them it was so soft to sleep on me :)

Well, for me that night wasn't that great but I still believe that this year could be good.
I wish you the best this year, let's make the previous year the worst in our lives! Happy New Year!

Ciao!

Photo Post #11: Saint Petersburg through my phone.

On the railway station. Almost 2a.m.
1. On my way there in the train! Couldn't believe I was actually going there :)
2. My hotel room. Not the best service but it was cheap and for me alone it was very nice, had a lovely time with myself :)
3. The sunrising when I'd just arrived.
4. The badge I got in the Lego Museum for accomplishing the task :)
Palace Square. Looks way better then in summer when I've been ther for the fist time.
All alone in the hotel room at night.. Only food is my company. Also watched "The nightmare before Christmas" that night. And yes, there's a baby food. I love it and I don't care that I'm actually 20 :)
1. Jelly fish! Look soooo cool
2. I was sitting in one of the cathedrals and this pretty cat came up and sit next to me untill I left :) #crazycatlady
3. Went to see a mini performence "The horrors of Saint Petersburg". It was incredible! Totally worth the money I paid.
4. I bought myself a new cute friend. I love tutles, his name is Otis and he's the most adorable tutle in the world!
The second night with food :) And yes. I've eaten it all. Alone. At once. And I watched "Teke-teke" that night to entertain myself.

That's finally everything I wanted to share with you about my trip. And I recommend to absolutely everybody to do spontanous trips like this. That's incredible and so memorable. And it's always great to have some time just with yourself :)

Hope you're having great time! :)
Ciao!

Photo Post #10: Saint Perersburg Part III

Hi, humans!
The last week was crazy, I had to learn so much stuff, I had to do tons of things so I hadn't much free time to post some of the last photos I have from my trip. So here're photos from my last two days :)

I decided to be like a "typical tourist" and visited some famous sightseeings. The first place I went was Peter and Paul Fortress. As you can probably guess the weather wasn't that great and I felt rather cold but still I enjoyed it. It's very nice there.
And I went to see a prison there and it was soooo creepy because there weren't much people.
And of course a Cathedral. It wasn't that magnifiscent, quite typical russian cathedral.
Then I was wandering around a little bit until it got darker so I could enjoy the other two Cathedrals I wanted to visit.
So I visited Church of the Savior on Blood...
And then I went to the top of the Saint Issac's Cathedral to see an evening panorama of the city.
The next and the last day wasn't that intresting, I was actually planning to do some shopping but I didn't think it through properly and I had to find something on a go. I went to the Doll's Museum(didn't take any photos there, was absolutely exhausted and didn't want to get my camera out the backpack). But then on my way to the metro station I've found a very creepy but still charming cemetery. It sounds weird and my friends laughed at me saying "You went to another city to go for a walk on a cemetery?" but I really hadn't planned to go there although my mum recommended me to visit it. It's an old cemestry full of beautiful monument. There're mostly german people burried there and also people who died during The Great Patriotic War. On the third picture there's a monument to children who died on the 9th of May 1942 from the nazi shell.
It was rather creepy and sad walking there. And I don't want to seem unrespectfull, I never walked away the paths where, I really do respect dead, maybe even too much. I felt a little bit weird there like it was wrong to take photos of the monuments but I coudn't resist. There was one more tourist there who steped right on the graves, that I can't understand. Maybe I just exaggerate :)

And when I had only couple hours left to my train, I went to the Christmas Fair to drink Israeil mulled wine and it was really good but too strong for me, I had a headache afterwards.

That's all for now! I have one more post about Saint Petesburg left.

Also, Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a wonderful celebration! I wish everyone to accomplish whatever you want this year!

Ciao!
