Photo Post #9: Saint Petersburg Part II

Hi, humans!
I continue with my mini-trip to St. Petersburg.

The first day after my room was prepared for me, I spent about two or three hours relaxing after the train. But then I went for an evening walk. The city is so beautiful now during holiday seasons, I had a great time just wandering around without any destinations and taking some pictures.
And I had my dinner in this lovely place :)

That's how my first day ended :)
More photos are coming :)

Photo Post #8: Saint Petersburg Part I

Hi, humans!
I think I talk way too much about me being depressed.. And this post is also a little bit about it. To be precise, it's about the way I tried to fight it last week. I went for a spontaneous three day trip to Saint Petersburg. I went all by myself. Only me. And I'm so glad I did it. The moment I had this idea I immediately booked tickets and a hotel room to secure myself against changing my mind. And I was soooo right! I changed my mind like 5 times during 3 days. So glad I managed to do it. And I just want to share some pieces of my trip with you :)

The first place I went was oceanarium. And I was so glad I went there. I guess there is one here, in Moscow, but I didn't try to find it, to be honest. But I thought it would be a great opportunity to go there for the first time exactly in St.Petersburg to have this lovely memory about the city.
Just a random place on the way to my next destination :)
Then I had some time before my hotel room was ready and I went to LEGO museum :) It was so fun! Couple days before my trip I'd seen the last part of Hobbit so it was pretty funny to see the scenes from there :) I'm also a fan of Star Wars and Harry Potter so I was multiple times happier to be there :)
One of the most annoying things about the city is the depth of the metro. It's soooooo deep, it takes ages to get down or up. I even almost fell asleep two or three time there :(

To be continued...

Christmas time movies list

 Hi, humans!
We all have our own lists of movies we usually watch this time of a year. They can remind us our childhood, they can give us the right mood, they can cheer us up. Here's my list of such movies. And I know that some of them are not christmasy at all but they mean a lot for me and I always watch them during my winter break, so they are christmasy for me :)
1. The miracle on 34th Street.
I'm in love with old american movies, like "Now and then", "Beetlejuice" or "Batteries are not included"(the most adorable movie ever), and last year I watched this "Miracle" and fell in love with it. The funny fact, I knew about this movie from Harry Styles' interview... Anyway, it's one of the most christmasy movie I've ever seen in my life! So kind, so adorable, so magical..If you have a lack of christmas mood, watch this one!

2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
It's just classic. I hadn't seen it for years and rewatched it last year and remembered why everybody loved it. Funny, christmasy, nice. All you ever need in christmas movie :)

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton's animations. And this is one of my favourite. I know that actually a lot of people love this one and I'm among them. I always watch it during winter, sometimes even couple times. For the fist time I watched it only 2 years ago, for some reasons I ignored it and some my friend hated me for that :) And I actually watched it after I stopped communication with those people... Weird... Anyway, I love it :)

4. Corpse Bride.
One of those movies which are not christmasy at all but I love watch them during this time of a year. Also it's my favourite Tim Burton's movie. I don't know, there's something magical in this movie... The fact that Victor and Victoria managed to fall in love in such a grey town makes this movie so adorable... Although I'm that person who doesn't believe in love at all, but still watching such cute things makes me think that it's not that bad in our world :) And I have no idea why this movie is so christmasy for me...

5. Love Actually.
One more movie I knew from Harry Styles' interview... It's so romantic what is not typical for me. But still I like it and try to watch it every year just to let some warm feelings in my heart. Although this year I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch it...  But I hope for the best next year :) Still I recommend to watch it if you haven't already.

6. Rise of the Guardians.
Since I saw it in the cinema I knew it was going to be my favourite! And it is. Still rewatch it every winter(it's the third winter after it went out, as I remember...). And I always watch it couple times because it's amazing! Especially Santa helpers, yetis and that little red caps who are super adorable :) And Easter Bunny, love him! And that moment when Jack called him a kangaroo? So hilarious! Love this movie a lot!

7. Treasure Planet.
Not christmasy at all but I can't ignore my favourite Disney movie ever. It took me quite some time to figure out only one favourite Disney animation, I'm a huge fan of Disney, but I've found it. And even though I'm not a fan of space related movies, I love this one. And I actually watch it every time I feel low or when I have a break. Winter, spring, summer or autumn, it doen't matter, I watch it all year around :)

8. Frozen.
We can't ignore this movie. Everybody loves it and I love it too. So wintery, nice, cute, adorable and etc., etc., etc. Can we take a moment and emphasize how adorable Olaf is? I fell in love with him from the first trailer I saw before seeing movie. So adorable!

9. Anastasia.
One more not-Christmasmas related movie but still one of my all time favourite animations ever. I don't actually know what else to say, you need just to watch it :) Maybe I love it that much because it's partly about my country.. Anyway, lots of love :)

10. Harry Potter.
How the fan of Harry Potter can not to mention it? Long winter break allows me to watch all 8 movies. And I'm planning to reread all books this winter. It's timeless. I will make my future children watch and read it, but when they're old enough.. Well, maybe first 3 books/movies will be ok for 8-10 years old, but the rest... Pretty dark, isn't it? I read an article where Rowling said she planned to write it even darker as it turned out to be.. That would be the worst dissapointment in my life.. But still I love it soooooo much. I even wrote a fanfiction... Didn't finish it though... Anyway, it's something that is always in my list to watch during winter times.

That's all from me today! Hope you enjoyed my list. Write in the comments your favourite Christmas movies!
Have a nice day :)
Ciao!

Christmas all around me

  Hi, humans!
It's finally december and it means festive mood everywhere! Even though here in Moscow we still don't have much snow(which is soooo weird), I can still feel Christmas all around me(it reminds me a song from "Love actually":), although we don't celebrate it...) Anyway, I felt really depressed recently and needed to cheer myself up and I decided to jumped into all that festive stuff.
I'm a huge youtube fan so of course videos from my favourite youtubers are first in my list :) I watch a lot of Zoella, Tanya Burr, Meghan Rienks, Joe Sugg and their Vlogmas. You can't deny, it's the most christmasy things on youtube :)
I also love christmas shopping but I already have a lot of christmas tree decorations so I could buy only those little balls for by windowsill sakura(photo will be below). Both things are from IKEA. Also only now I've noticed the reflection of me taking this photo in every single ball :)
I changed a little bit stuff on my bedside table. I have this cute little deer on the left from my friend Julie, she gave it to me last year. This bear is by my other friend and I've had for 3 years now, love it so much and it's from Coca-Cola, he just randomly bought it for me in the cinema :) The little pretty house is also a present, my friend gave it to me like two or three years ago. She also gave me winter owl last yaer. So this bedside table is full of memories :)
Also I've spent quite some time picking a lipstick for New Year Eve party(yes, already). It took me a while because they are pretty similar but still different. I picked the middle one, it's Rimmel lipstick from Kate Moss collection in shade 30, if you're wondering. And I also bought yesterday a lip liner for it and I've never used any lip liners before so it's a great opportunity to start :) And also I watched Garbiella a.k.a. velvetgh0st on youtube, she's so lovely :)
So as I said I decorated my sakura with some balls and some tinsel(not sure if you can call it this way...) and I added some fairy lights and christmas candle holder, also a present. Looks cute, I guess :)
And my favourite detail in my bedroom - my bed with new fairy lights! I think I'm gonna leave it all year arond because it's absollutly adorable! Love it sooo much. Now I don't want to leave my house in the evening, just to lay in my bed with those lights and watching some christmas youtube videos and my evening is prefect!

That's all from me today!
Hope you're having a great time preparing for this exciting holidays :)
Tell me what's you're most excited this month :)
Have a nice day!
Ciao!

Mini H&M and Lush Haul

Hi, humans!
How you're doin? I'm sooooo busy now.. For some reason my study decided to kill me this week, I'm sooo exhausted! The only thing I want to do it's to lie down. All day long. For a week. The last month wasn't really good for me, I've been ill for almost three weeks of the whole month. I also twisted my leg and couln't walk for three days... Crazy. Now when I meet my friends, they always ask something like "So, How are you? What new illness did you catch? Or maybe you broke anything else?". Even my friends are sick of it. Can you imagine how I feel?

Anyway, yesterday I went to the mall to get some presents for my friend's birthday. I've spent 3,5 hours there and found the main present for her only in the very end! Of cause I've spent some money on myself, just needed to cheer myself up(tough month, you know).
So, here's what I got :)
I've found home section in H&M, never seen it before and I was ready to buy like a half of everything there, really, but I stoped myself because I'll need this money later(holidays are coming, presents, many many presents...). So I ended up buying only candles.
The mint one is one of my presents for my friend. It says "The Poet's Garden Rain". The scent is very fresh, just like she likes. I've never had any candles from H&M so I don't know if they're good or not but the package is pretty, I think she's going to like it :) Maybe I'll buy one for myself later to check their quality.
The set of three candles saying "Joy" I bought as a New Year present for someone. I don't know for whom yet, I just saw it, liked it, bought it. But I'm sure I'll find a candle-lover among my friends :)

Then somehow I got to make-up/nail polish section. By the way, has any of you ever bought their make-up brushes? Big powder brush feels so good but I'm not sure whether to buy it or not... I saw this metal gold nail polish and fell in love. It was only in the set with lipgloss and, even though I didn't need it at all because I'm not a fan of lipglosses, I bought it. I like the packaging of lipgloss though, pretty stylish, I guess. I thought that the part of nail polish which is visible that's the whole size but then at home I figured out it goes all way down till the end of the packaging! 12 ml it's quite a lot and made me even happier then I was :)
I also bought Matte Top Coat which works amazing! It dries very quickly and the finish is great. I'm a huge fan of matte things like lipsticks and nail polishes and I'm so glad that now I can make any nail polish I own matte. Great thing.

Then I went to Lush. Oh my God! I love Lush so much! Recently I needed something to calm down and baths with different bombs helped me a lot. And I bought new ones as I used up what I had. I ended up buying "Granny Takes A Dip", "Twilight" and "Northern Lights". The last one I'm giving as a bday present, the rests are for myself. I picked up particular those bombs because they change their colour and it's such a satisfying show! I don't know why but I love watching them dissolving and changing colours... Oooohhh, sooooo good. And relaxing. Just what I need :)

This scarf I also bought in H&M. I wanted something like this for a very long time. Since I saw something like this in Mariannan's blog. But her scarf is way too expensive, about 100$ or something like this. Mine costs less that 20$. Huge difference, isn't it? I'm in love with this scarf. It's sooooo soft and big, I'm sitting wraping in it right now because it's so warm and comfy. I like that it's plain grey without any ornaments, only fringe. Hope it's gonna last forever! So excited to wear it! :)

That's all.
Let me know if you're excited about winter and holidays almost around the corner! I'm so excited to see snow(we still dont't have it, unfortunetely).

Have a nice day!
Ciao :)

Current Favourites Autumn 2014

Hi, humans!
We all have problems with money to spend on new product to try something unusual. I'm in such situation so I haven't tried much recently so I couldn't do monthly favs but still I have some things I'd like to share and talk about :)

Ok, I'm gonna start with the sweater. It's getting pretty cold in Russia(altough today it's quite warm for november) so I need moooooore sweaters but it's pretty difficult to find a good one for reasonable price. But I thought that one from Pull&Bear was pretty nice. It's warm and cosy, I like the colour even though I'm not a fan of pink colour but it makes me look fresher I guess. Anyway the fact that it's warm is the mein why I bought it. And the price was quite nice :)

Then, the book. Actuallt it's my all time favourite book, Jack London "Martin Eden". One of my best friends recommended it to me like 3 years ago and since then I always recommend it everybody because it is incredible! The plot, the ideas, the language, oh Gosh, it's all perfect! This season I decided to reread it but the way much slowlier just to enjoy every single word and I felt the best literary satisfaction. If you haven't read it yet, do it right now! :)

Talking about beauty stuff, I have Organic Shop Organic Rasberry & Sugar Body Polish. I wrote about it in my previous post, it's the second pot of the product and I'm soooooo in love with it. The result is amazing, the skin feels so soft, the scent is incredible and it's so sad they don't have any kind of cream with the same scent so I can feel it longer. I'm gonna repurchase it over and over again until they out of stock :)

The brush it's a Real Techniques Buffing Brush from Sam's Pick Set. I remember I wrote in this post that I didn't like this brush at all but things changed and now I love it. I use it every time I apply my concealer and I think it much better then the Pointed Foundation Brush from the same set that I used to use in the beginning. It blends the concealer much faster and better and it helps to get as much coverage from the product as possible and it's great, isn't it?

Next I have the Revlon Colorbust Matte Balm in shade Elusive. I love matte lip products and the previous favourite prosuct was also from Revlon. I remember saw it on Zoella in one of her videos where she wore the same matte balm but in a different shade and it looked so good and I thought I needed one. And recently I've finally found these balms in Russia. I got this shade because for some reason I like wearing pink colours during autumn/winter time, don't know why. And since I bought this I wear it every single day :)

The next is Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfecter for combination to oily skin in Light. I wrote a post where I was talking that I couldn't find a nice BB cream for my skin. And finnally I've found one. The shade is good for my skin tone, it's an extra coverage which is compulsory for living in big city. The only minus is that it takes quite some time to blend it nicely into skin but after couple applying it's getting totally fine :)

The next product I was the most excited waiting to be delivered. It's Zoella Beauty Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion. I love it sooooooo much! It's incredible. Although the scent is a little bit too strong for me, the feeling after applying it is so nice. It really moistrizes very well, the skin is so soft. I've already used like a half of a bottle(it was delivered like a week or two ago). I guess next time I'm gonna order more than one :)

The palette is a Sleek Face Form Face Contouring and Blush Palette in shade 373 Light. As you can see the blush has a lot of shimmer and glitters and I'm not a fan of such things but after using it I changed my mind. Cheeks look so gorgeous with such nice gold shimmer, I fell in love with it and use it everyday now. I went to the shop to campare it with the famous NARS blush in shade Orgasm and I can say they are pretty similiar but this one is much cheaper :) The highlighter is great too. It's my first highlighter ever and I'm already in love with using it. As far as I can see by photos the whole palette looks like the Urban Decay Flushed palette, only bronzer is a little bit darker. I'm still not good at applying bronzer so I skip this step and can't say much about it. It's matte, which is good, but with some yellow undertones I guess, which is not that good. But still I think it's a great palette especially for that price. You can order it here if you want to, they ship worldwhile. If they ship to Russia, they ship almost everywhere :)

The last thing is the Essie Nail Polish in shade Merino Cool. I think it's a great autumn nail polish colour. Also it Essie, the quality is great as always, it doesn't take much time to dry completely what is always a great thing. I don't have much to say, love the shade, love the brand :)

That's all I love in this moment. Hope you're having great time!
Tell me what you love right now, I'd like to know :)
Ciao!
