Photo Post #9: Saint Petersburg Part II

Hi, humans!
I continue with my mini-trip to St. Petersburg.

The first day after my room was prepared for me, I spent about two or three hours relaxing after the train. But then I went for an evening walk. The city is so beautiful now during holiday seasons, I had a great time just wandering around without any destinations and taking some pictures.
And I had my dinner in this lovely place :)

That's how my first day ended :)
More photos are coming :)

Photo Post #8: Saint Petersburg Part I

Hi, humans!
I think I talk way too much about me being depressed.. And this post is also a little bit about it. To be precise, it's about the way I tried to fight it last week. I went for a spontaneous three day trip to Saint Petersburg. I went all by myself. Only me. And I'm so glad I did it. The moment I had this idea I immediately booked tickets and a hotel room to secure myself against changing my mind. And I was soooo right! I changed my mind like 5 times during 3 days. So glad I managed to do it. And I just want to share some pieces of my trip with you :)

The first place I went was oceanarium. And I was so glad I went there. I guess there is one here, in Moscow, but I didn't try to find it, to be honest. But I thought it would be a great opportunity to go there for the first time exactly in St.Petersburg to have this lovely memory about the city.
Just a random place on the way to my next destination :)
Then I had some time before my hotel room was ready and I went to LEGO museum :) It was so fun! Couple days before my trip I'd seen the last part of Hobbit so it was pretty funny to see the scenes from there :) I'm also a fan of Star Wars and Harry Potter so I was multiple times happier to be there :)
One of the most annoying things about the city is the depth of the metro. It's soooooo deep, it takes ages to get down or up. I even almost fell asleep two or three time there :(

To be continued...

Christmas time movies list

 Hi, humans!
We all have our own lists of movies we usually watch this time of a year. They can remind us our childhood, they can give us the right mood, they can cheer us up. Here's my list of such movies. And I know that some of them are not christmasy at all but they mean a lot for me and I always watch them during my winter break, so they are christmasy for me :)
1. The miracle on 34th Street.
I'm in love with old american movies, like "Now and then", "Beetlejuice" or "Batteries are not included"(the most adorable movie ever), and last year I watched this "Miracle" and fell in love with it. The funny fact, I knew about this movie from Harry Styles' interview... Anyway, it's one of the most christmasy movie I've ever seen in my life! So kind, so adorable, so magical..If you have a lack of christmas mood, watch this one!

2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
It's just classic. I hadn't seen it for years and rewatched it last year and remembered why everybody loved it. Funny, christmasy, nice. All you ever need in christmas movie :)

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton's animations. And this is one of my favourite. I know that actually a lot of people love this one and I'm among them. I always watch it during winter, sometimes even couple times. For the fist time I watched it only 2 years ago, for some reasons I ignored it and some my friend hated me for that :) And I actually watched it after I stopped communication with those people... Weird... Anyway, I love it :)

4. Corpse Bride.
One of those movies which are not christmasy at all but I love watch them during this time of a year. Also it's my favourite Tim Burton's movie. I don't know, there's something magical in this movie... The fact that Victor and Victoria managed to fall in love in such a grey town makes this movie so adorable... Although I'm that person who doesn't believe in love at all, but still watching such cute things makes me think that it's not that bad in our world :) And I have no idea why this movie is so christmasy for me...

5. Love Actually.
One more movie I knew from Harry Styles' interview... It's so romantic what is not typical for me. But still I like it and try to watch it every year just to let some warm feelings in my heart. Although this year I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch it...  But I hope for the best next year :) Still I recommend to watch it if you haven't already.

6. Rise of the Guardians.
Since I saw it in the cinema I knew it was going to be my favourite! And it is. Still rewatch it every winter(it's the third winter after it went out, as I remember...). And I always watch it couple times because it's amazing! Especially Santa helpers, yetis and that little red caps who are super adorable :) And Easter Bunny, love him! And that moment when Jack called him a kangaroo? So hilarious! Love this movie a lot!

7. Treasure Planet.
Not christmasy at all but I can't ignore my favourite Disney movie ever. It took me quite some time to figure out only one favourite Disney animation, I'm a huge fan of Disney, but I've found it. And even though I'm not a fan of space related movies, I love this one. And I actually watch it every time I feel low or when I have a break. Winter, spring, summer or autumn, it doen't matter, I watch it all year around :)

8. Frozen.
We can't ignore this movie. Everybody loves it and I love it too. So wintery, nice, cute, adorable and etc., etc., etc. Can we take a moment and emphasize how adorable Olaf is? I fell in love with him from the first trailer I saw before seeing movie. So adorable!

9. Anastasia.
One more not-Christmasmas related movie but still one of my all time favourite animations ever. I don't actually know what else to say, you need just to watch it :) Maybe I love it that much because it's partly about my country.. Anyway, lots of love :)

10. Harry Potter.
How the fan of Harry Potter can not to mention it? Long winter break allows me to watch all 8 movies. And I'm planning to reread all books this winter. It's timeless. I will make my future children watch and read it, but when they're old enough.. Well, maybe first 3 books/movies will be ok for 8-10 years old, but the rest... Pretty dark, isn't it? I read an article where Rowling said she planned to write it even darker as it turned out to be.. That would be the worst dissapointment in my life.. But still I love it soooooo much. I even wrote a fanfiction... Didn't finish it though... Anyway, it's something that is always in my list to watch during winter times.

That's all from me today! Hope you enjoyed my list. Write in the comments your favourite Christmas movies!
Have a nice day :)
Ciao!

Christmas all around me

  Hi, humans!
It's finally december and it means festive mood everywhere! Even though here in Moscow we still don't have much snow(which is soooo weird), I can still feel Christmas all around me(it reminds me a song from "Love actually":), although we don't celebrate it...) Anyway, I felt really depressed recently and needed to cheer myself up and I decided to jumped into all that festive stuff.
I'm a huge youtube fan so of course videos from my favourite youtubers are first in my list :) I watch a lot of Zoella, Tanya Burr, Meghan Rienks, Joe Sugg and their Vlogmas. You can't deny, it's the most christmasy things on youtube :)
I also love christmas shopping but I already have a lot of christmas tree decorations so I could buy only those little balls for by windowsill sakura(photo will be below). Both things are from IKEA. Also only now I've noticed the reflection of me taking this photo in every single ball :)
I changed a little bit stuff on my bedside table. I have this cute little deer on the left from my friend Julie, she gave it to me last year. This bear is by my other friend and I've had for 3 years now, love it so much and it's from Coca-Cola, he just randomly bought it for me in the cinema :) The little pretty house is also a present, my friend gave it to me like two or three years ago. She also gave me winter owl last yaer. So this bedside table is full of memories :)
Also I've spent quite some time picking a lipstick for New Year Eve party(yes, already). It took me a while because they are pretty similar but still different. I picked the middle one, it's Rimmel lipstick from Kate Moss collection in shade 30, if you're wondering. And I also bought yesterday a lip liner for it and I've never used any lip liners before so it's a great opportunity to start :) And also I watched Garbiella a.k.a. velvetgh0st on youtube, she's so lovely :)
So as I said I decorated my sakura with some balls and some tinsel(not sure if you can call it this way...) and I added some fairy lights and christmas candle holder, also a present. Looks cute, I guess :)
And my favourite detail in my bedroom - my bed with new fairy lights! I think I'm gonna leave it all year arond because it's absollutly adorable! Love it sooo much. Now I don't want to leave my house in the evening, just to lay in my bed with those lights and watching some christmas youtube videos and my evening is prefect!

That's all from me today!
Hope you're having a great time preparing for this exciting holidays :)
Tell me what's you're most excited this month :)
Have a nice day!
Ciao!
