Photo Post #30: The 12th of August: My Boyfriend's Birthday

Hi!

I wonder how actual bloggers manage to post on a regular basic.. I just get so overwhelmed by the amount of things I need to do.. I have to work, I have to do some official papers, I failed the exam for the Uni to get a master degree(I don’t care about it but my mum does), my social life  got back to live and I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend and my friends. I’m having two days off when I need nothing to do and it feels so weird that I don’t need to go anywhere, don’t need to do anything and it’s so freaking weird. But I want to finally make my life and my blog a little bit more scheduled. So I’ll try to write more on Sundays to plan post for the week ahead and do it more regulary.

So, I have some photo posts ahead :)

The first one in this raw is from celebrating my lovely boyfriend’s birthday :) We just had a fun picnic near the pound. We had some fun and a little bit sad moments but in general I think it was fun :) And apparently I was veeeeery emotional. I believe I don't even have a single normal photo :)

AliExpress Brushes

Hi!

So, as I was writing in the post about BuyInCoins, it’s always risky to buy online on cheap web sites but I wanted to treat myself for my birthday with some new brushes. I didn’t know where to get good but not very expensive brushes and I was looking for some when I heard people talking about one shop(here) on AliExpress and the reviews were pretty good. So I decided to try some of their brushes.

The general opinion of mine is that they are nice but not as good as people were saying. They’re not expensive at all and they are very good for their price. Let’s talk about every single one of them.

The first one is L125 - Angle blush. I really like the way it feels, I like the way it looks but I got some bristles out already(I got them 2 weeks ago). But nevertheless I like to use this brush for applying bronzer and it works really well with blending. And it costs 7,12$ right now on sale here.

The next one is L247- Tapered Blending Brush. The same as with the previous brush: like the look, the way it feels but got some bristles out already. These bristles coming out are so annoying as I like the brush and want to keep them for as long as possible but I don’t think they will serve me for I very long time but for now I’m fine with it :) Price 3,80$ on sale right now here.

The next one is L267 – Pencil Brush. This one hasn’t lost any of the bristles yet :) And that’s great as I really like it! It’s so good for applying eyeshadow on the lower waterline(under waterline, of course :)). Now at least I do apply eyeshadow there :) Don’t have much to say as it’s just a good brush :) Price also 3,80$ on sale here.

The next one is L258 - Angled Brow Brush. I haven’t used yet actually but it looks and feels pretty nice. It also looks a lot like MAC 263 Brush and feels almost the same. So I hope it’ll work as well as a MAC one :) Price also 3,80$ on sale here.

The last one is L163- Eye Liner Brush. And it is the biggest disappointment ever! It’s so thick that I can’t even imagine how anyone can use it for an eyeliner. I was the most excited to receive this brush but it turned out to be a failure… So bad. Price is 3,80$ on sale as well here.

That’s all. There are some great things here but unfortunately there are some bad things about this my purchase. But I still want to try some their other brushed.

Would you ever order online from the site like this? I know a lot of people are afraid to order on sites like this. What do you thing?

Cheap Shopping... Again?

So, I remember writing in the very beginning of my blog about cheap shopping and if it’s worth it. And that time I thought it wasn’t. But I decided to try one more time. I don’t know why it happened but it did :) This time I ordered from very cheap shop BuyInCoins.

I don’t actually remember how I ended up on that web-site but I ordered 4 things and they’re all pretty good, I expected much worse.

First comes Tangle Teaser(obviously fake :)). I don’t buy the original one as the price here in Moscow is crazy and I don’t see a point to spend that much money on just a hair brush. This fake one cost 3,69$(if you’re interested it’s here). I just want to say that this thing is very good :) It even came in a package close to the original one. The brush itself is really well made for this price. I carry it with me all the time now. I love the massage feeling of it on my skull, it’s soooo satisfying :)

Then, this weird looking “egg”. It’s a brushegg for washing your makeup brushes. And I’m in love with it! I’ve never seen them before but I thought it should’ve been a good thing. And it is. It makes washing-brushes-routine so much faster! I don’t like the fact that I couldn’t pick a colour but that’s fine as the product itself is really good. And it cost only 1,39$(here).

I also wanted a NARS kabuki brush for a long time but it’s ridiculously expensive. So, I saw this one which looks pretty close to the original one but for only 2,41$(here) and thought “Why not?”. Do, the brush itself is not that well-made but it’s so soft that I couldn’t stop myself from striking my face with it over and over again :) I use it for blush or highlighter now and pretty happy with it :)

The last thing is very interesting for me as it’s a brow eraser(1,06$ here). I have quite sensitive eyes. They water every time I plug my eyebrows which is pretty annoying. So when I saw this I wanted to buy it immediately. And it was a good decision :) Now it takes me like two-three minutes to do my eyebrows :) The only bad thing is that now I need to do them more often. But it’s totally fine as it doesn’t take that long.

That’s all for now! I can say that sometimes you can just order some little silly thing just for fun but online shopping on such sites is always risky, just be prepared for anything :)
