Current Favourites July 2015

Hi!
Today I want to talk about some of my current favourites. I haven’t talked about it for a while and now I have some to share with you :)
So, right now I have a weird obsession with Catrice Cosmetics products. I don’t even notice that I buy something from this brand again until I get home and put it in my make up bag. So now I have quite a few :)
First of all, I decided to try out fake eyelashes(Catrice Cosmetics Lash Couture Single Lashes) for my prom but didn’t want to spend a lot of money just in case I didn’t like them. But it turned out to be OK and I’m planning on buying Tanya Burr’s ones as they are good as I heard and they are pretty affordable :) And I liked these ones too but don’t have a point on wearing them actually right now :(
Then, I also decided to try out a make-up primer as I’d never tried them before. This one is Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner for Invisible Pores and Lines. The longest name ever! I really like the scent of it and the texture. I can’t say I see a huge difference but at least I got interested and now want to try out more :)
I also decided to try out(a lot of trying out in this post :)) a translucent powder. My face became too pale for my usual powder and I wanted to try something new besides Rimmel Stay Matte Powder(I still love it though). And I bought this Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Mattifying Powder Waterproof in the shade 010 Translucent. I like that it’s big and with a mirror :) And the effect is soooo good. It stay in place for the whole day and I have an oily skin in the center of my face so it’s important that it can help me out :)
Then, I also bought two single eyeshadows(I usually don’t buy a single ones as I just don’t like to have tons of them in my make-up bag, I prefer palettes). I just fell in love with the bottom one, Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Eye Colour 560 I Like To Mauve It! I used it as the main colour for my prom. The second one, Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Eye Colour 400 My First Copperware Party,(I like their names :)) I also used for my prom as a crease colour. I have a weird obsession with sparkly eyeshadows at the moment. I used to hate them but now I use only them! And these two are pretty food :)
Other brand that I really enjoy at the moment is L’Oreal. I bought Miss Mango Mascara only because it was on sale but I didn’t regret about it as it’s my favourite mascara so far. The previous one, Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes, stopped working on me for some reason, that is very disappointing as I liked it a lot. The only thing I don’t get in this mascara is a flexor brush.. I just can’t get it.. It doesn’t move when you apply it so why is this a thing? Can anyone explain me that? Still, the mascara itself is really good :)
The other thing by L’Oreal I really enjoy using is a Colour Riche Extraordinaire in the shade 101 Rose Melody. My mum bought it for herself but she didn’t like the formula but I like it. Plus it’s my perfect nice nude shade. The formula is weird for me too but I actually don’t mind it :)
Other favourites of mine this summer are little roll perfumes. They are Zara Eau De Toilette Los Angeles and Hiza. I bought two together as it cost the same as if I bought only one(that wasn’t actually available). First of all, I bought them as I wanted the Los Angeles one. I found it last summer and now it’s my favourite summer scent. The Hiza one is nice too. I apply it if I go out in the evening as I thang it suites evening more than day time. And maybe I’ll be using it in the autumn, will see :)
And the last favourite of mine is YOGA Journal. I try to do some yoga in the evening at home and I really enjoy it. And of course I decided to read some journals about it. And I love this journal right now! There are a lot of interesting article about everything: about life, about food, about people, their stories, of course about yoga itself. I find it super inspiring. And I recommend it to everyone now :) My boyfriend actually think that I look like a hippy when I talk about something from this journal… I think it’s funny :)
That’s all for now! I even think there’s too much information already :)
How’s your summer so far? It’s almost the end of July so it means only one month left which is sad…
I wish you not to waste the last summer month :)
Ciao!

Autumn Emties 2014

Hi, humans!
Ok, I disappered again for a whole month. As usual :)
Anyway, I'm back with another empties post. As you can see I have quite a lot. Let's go through it!

Body/face care:
1. Garnier 2-in-1 Make-up Remover. It's one of those two-layered removers that you need to shake before using. I actually like this concept but I absolutly dislike this particular one. It took forever to remove my eye make up and using it I had to use an eye cream for the first time because my skin was very dry after this. Very disappointed.
2. Eveline 3-in-1 Mecelar water. No, I'm not a fan of multi-tasking thing, this one my mum bought me. I hadn't tried any products from this brand and I don't think I would. Neither work as make-up remover nor tonic. Didn't like it all.
3. Garnier Clear Skin 3-in-1. This think should work as a gel, scrub and mask. I liked it as a gel and scrub but when I tried it as a mask, my skin started to burn! I don't know if it was supposed to act like this but I didn't use it as mask ever again :) But as a scrub it's worked pretty well. I haven't had much problems with my skin recently bt still I felt that my skin felt more refreshed plus I used it at night so it washed off the rest of my make up which is always good :)
4. Nivea Daily Moistrizer. As i remember it's my second pack of this particular cream and I love it. I believe that it's quite natural so it's a huge plus. Also it works very nicely on skin. It absorbs very fast so it's ok to apply before make up. And my skin feels so good after it. Always loved Nivea products and this one is not an exception.
5. Organic Shop Rasberry & Sugar Body Polish. This thing is heaven for your skin! Oh my God, I love it so much and already repurchased it. My skin have never felt so soft before. And the smell.... Oh Gosh, it's sooooooo good. During the summer I used it almost every day because I'm so in love with the smel and soft feeling after it. It's definitely my all time favourite body product!
6. Organic Shop Bath Foam Caribbean Fruit Cocktail. I'm not a bath person but this summer I had some time all alone at home and wanted to relax a little bit and made myself a bath. And I realised that I actually need to take baths from time to time to clear up my mind. And I started trying different products. And I tried this one for some reasons: 1). it's organic(I'm crazy about organic products), 2). it smells really good, 3). it's a foam, what can be good? Anyway I loved it even though it takes quite some time to use it.
7. Wild Siberica Foot Cream. I'm still trying new organic brands that I can find in our stores. This is a new one I've tried and I'm not impressed. To really moistrize foot you need rather a lot of this product so it ran out very fast.
8. Wild Siberica Hand Cream. The same problem as with the foot cream: you need to apply a lot to feel any difference. Don't think I'll buy it ever again.
9. Planeta Organica Organic Oblepikha Hand Cream. It's actually my favourite organic brand I've tried. It's really moistrizing, smells good and it's really cheap. Only pluses :)
10. Planeta Organica Organic Shea Foot Cream. It's my favourite foot crean I've ever tried. Soooo moistrizing, smells sooooo good... Just the best :)
11. Nivea Invisible Antiperspirant 48 hours. I bought and used up 2 packs of this and with the second one I realised that I didn't like it that much as I thought. The first one worked pretty well even though it's not invisible which is very disappointed because I like to wear my "lucky" dress and it's dark blue so I always have those terrible white spots from deodorant and it's so annoying. I'm still looking for a good one. Any suggestions?:)

Hair care:
1. Yves Rocher Volumizing Shampoo with Mallow. I didn't like it at all. I didn't see any volume. Well, maybe it didn't work for my hair because I have dry hair? Who knows. Anyway I didn't like it.
2. Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Oil Elixir. I've already written about this product over here. If you want, check it there :)
3. Yves Rocher Reparing Conditioner. I totally forgot that I wrote about it in my summer empties post. So read it there :)

Make up:
1. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. Everybody talk about it all over the internet and I tried it and I love it. I've already bought the second one :) I have the shade 005 Silky Beige, if you're wondering. Great powder that really makes your skin look matte for quite long time. I have oily skin only in the T-zone so I apply powder only there so it took me a year to use up this pack, the new one may take me even longer. The only minus it's the size of a packaging. Not very handy to carry in a small make-up bag. But the rest is great :)
2. Zara Los Angeles Parfum. I love this scent! I used it all summer and I want to buy a big one because it's great, really love it and want to use all yaer around :)
3. MaXfactor Mastertouch Under-eye Concealer. Actually as you can see I haven't used it up completely but I wanted to include it in this post. You see that I don't have it that much rest and it's been only 2 weeks as I'm using it. Can you imagine how fast it goes?! One more week and it's done! Terrible product. It doesn't even have that mush coverage and you need rather a lot to cover at least under-eye dark circles. Don't buy it, I would say. And it's the shade 306 Fair.
4. L'Oreal Alliance Perfect Concealer. This cocealer I liked a lot. It has very nice coverage it lasted 3 months which is great I believe. The consistence is very creamy, gives a very nise feeling. I used the shade 3 Cream. If I have troubles with finding something better, I can always come back to this one.
5. L'Oreal Volume Millions Lashes So Couture Mascara. The lady in shop told me it's a great latest mascara by L'Oreal, one of the best. And I believed her. Don't believe those ladies anymore. Well it's not that bad but also isn't that good. But for some reasons in all shops it's said that it's one of the best you can buy by L'Oreal. So I come back to Rimmel mascaras :) Anyway, it's not the best but nort the worst but it didn't worth the money I paid for it.

Wow, that's a lot of writing. Hope you're not too lazy to read it :)

Hope, you're having a great time. And I'm going to post much more this month. I made a list with posts I want to write so it's gonna be a good month, I hope :)

Empties Summer 2014

Hi, humans!
I don't know about you but I love watching posts and videos about products people have used up. Only ib this case you can know the real opinion about products.
I'm this kind of people who doesn't throw away things they don't like that much. So I have some products I really enjoyed using and some I didn't. Let's begin :)

Let's start with face care products. I don't have much because I often forget to save empty bottles...
So, the first it's Nivea Cleanser. I love Nivea so much but this product disappointed me so much... I didn't notice any difference using it.. It doesn't wash off the rest of a make up, it doesn't clear pores, I don't even know what it does.... So, I don't recommend that.
Next it's Nivea moistryzer. This stuff is soooooo moisturizing, even way too much. It takes ages to wait until it's finally dry and you can apply your make up. But for night it's really good to repair your skin after sun or make up or any other bad things that can spoil your skin. It depends on what you desire to have. Just keep in mind it's veeeeeery moisturizing, like really, veeeery moisturizing :)
Then, you see two packs of the same moisturizer by Yves Rocher. The first I bought only because of the sticker on top, it's so nice and a little bit vintage. But the cream by itself is not that nice. Like the Nivea one it takes ages to wait until it's dry but it doesn't moisturise that much. I don't understand what's happening but I keep getting disappointed by my favourite brands. I really like Yves Rocher but lately it doen't impress me that much... The second pack I got from my mum on New Year.

Now let's talk about other skin care products.
The first it's Planeta Organica Organic Oblepikha Body Cream. The first I want to mention that before it I haven't used any body creams ot lotions. But this one changed my mind! It's sooooooooo good, the smell is amazing! And it makes my skin so soft. Plus it's organic and I'm a little obsessed with organic skin care products. I'm not sure but I believe it's russian brand that makes me fell a little bit proud :)
Then I have two Yves Rocher creams(my mum gave me a big kit of different Yves Rocher products): hand and foot creams. And it looks weird, I know, but I cat some cream tubes to get the most of the products. I really loved the hand cream! It's really nice, the smell is good, the consistence is pleasant for skin. My hands feel much better and softer :) The foot cream is nice but that's all. Not that impressive. I saw the price for this little tube and I was a little suprised that it's rather expensive but it doesn't worth it, I think. And it's tiny. That's not that convenient.
And the last here it's Nivea Deoderent Powder Effect. The first time I applied it I was a little bit confused by the smell(yes, I talk way too much about smells ans scents :). I felt like I applied some kind of baby powder and I smelled it so strongly, I thought that everybody could smelled it too. But then I got used to it and ended up liking it. It protects from sweating quite well, I have a huge problem with it, very few deodorants help mt but this one does.

Now, hair care. I have only one product I wanted to share with you. It's a Repair Conditioner by Yves Rocher. And Oh My God! That's my love till the rest of my life. I will repurchase it over and over again untill it's in stock. This is a miracle for my hair! They never felt that soft before. Don't even know what to add... Just the best hair product I know so far :)

Time for some make up :)
I've already thrown away the package and I don't remember the exact name of my tone, but it's a MaXfactor Cream Puff powder in shade №41 something beige :) It was the second or the third powder I've ever owned and it's pretty nice. It has a good coverage but rather strong smell... I don't know why.. It's nice but a little bit annoying. I can't say much actually because I started getting into make up only couple months ago and this had been already used up. I remember that it was pretty cheap compare to other MaXfactor's powders. For that money it's a very nice powder.

Mascara time! I'm a little bit crazy about mascaras... As you can see I have three empty bottles :) Let's talk about each one :)
The first it's Bourjois Volume Glamour Max. What can I say... I like the brush, I actually love exactly this type of brushes. But in this case it's not the best... I was disappointed by this mascara... Bourjois is one of the most expensivedrugstore btands and I decided to check out at least their mascara and I'm honestly not sure if I want to try any of its produsts because recentlu I've read a lot of bad reviews about their products. Don't mean that it is a very bad brand but I didn't like that mascara, that's the main over here.
Next it's Rimmel Scandal Eyes Lycra Flex. And I'm in love with it! Rimmel is one of the cheapest drugstore brands and this mascara was one of the heapest in the whole shop and it's one the best I've ever tried. The brush is amazing, it gives a good length, good volume, it separates really nicely. Just everything you need from mascara. Want to buy it again after I use up my current mascara.
The last here is L'Oreal False Lash Papillon. I heard so many good reviews about this mascara and can you imagine how upset I was when it turned out to be one of the worst mascara I've ever tried? Really, why do people compliment it so much? I can't get it. I didn't gat any length, any volume, any separation. My lashes looked so weird after applying it. I didn't expect it. L'Oreal is a quite nice brand, as you know, I love their eyeliner, but this mascara wasn't good for me. Unfortunately.

I guess I've mentioned it in my L'Oreal's eyeliner Review. I used up at least three of them. And it's not because I'm so in love with but because I couldn't find better. And it really annoyed me so much. It's a nice eyeliner but the very end of the applicator dries so fast. I can use it for month or something like this and no more. Then it gets really hard to apply it normally even though there are so much more product inside and it just pisses me off! But in the same time when it's new it's such a nice eyeliner, cheaper then L'Oreal one but still good. I don't have a common opinion about this product.. It's love/hate relationship between this eyeliner and me :)

So that's all I've saved so far :) Hope you enloyed such a long reading :) I don't usually write that much bit I had some inspiration.

Have a nice day :)

L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision Review

Hi, humans!
Everybody's dreaming about perfect eyelined eyes and of course perfect flicks. To achieve it you need a perfect eyeliner. I think I've found mine. I can't say that I do great flicks but at least now I can do them with this eyeliner!
I've tried 4 diffrent eyeliners: 2 by Essence, 1 by Eva Mosaics(know absolutely nothing about this brand, not  even sure if the name is correct) and 1 by Maybelline. I used out about 3 Maybelline liners, all Master Precise and I used to like it but it drys so quickly, it annoyed me so much. But I hope L'Oreal's one will work for a long time, I just love it so much.

Anyway, what is great about this eyeliner?

The first, the packaging. It's gold, shiny, quiet elegant, I think. I'm not a fan of gold and shiny things but it looks so nice. Also I like the fact that the packaging is simple and quiet laconic. Just what I like about products.
The second, the brush. I like eyeliner like markers, it's so easy to use. And this one is made as a marker and classic eyeliner brush in the same time. I thibk, it's the best brush you can find, At least, it's my opinion. The tip is so precise, so easy to draw flicks.
The third, the color. It's such an intense black color. Also, it's ultra-lasting. But unfortunetely not waterproof. Sometimes I have some problems with my eyes, they water from time to time with no visible reason and in this case my eyeliner comes off. So if you're looking for a waterproof liner, it's not one.

To sum it up I say: no matter what it's a great eyeliner!

Hope it'll be useful for someone :)

June favourites 2014

Yeah, this month I actually can do a month favourites post because I have something to show you :) So this is what I liked during the whole month.

Yes, I take photos on my windowsill if you haven't noticed, and you can see my terrifying radiator :)

So, the first thing it's one of the Bath&BodyWorks candles that I bought for myself for my birthday. This one is "Island Margarita" and it smells so good!(I actually took this photos a little bit earlier, before I burnt like a half of it) It's really great for summer. And again, B&BW candles are really good although they are not that cheap...

I guess it's kinda a trend to wear white nail polish right now, I saw so many youtubers wearing them(I don't watch just random people on the street, always in my thoughts :) And it was rather hard to find a little bottle of this because I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I did. Now I wear it very often, actually half of the time... I wear this one, then I change a color, but then I go back to this one, then I apply another, then again this and so on. I think it's gonna be my favourite nail polish of the whole summer :)

I'm soooooo happy that they're finally available in Russia! I wanted them so bad for such a long time and now I've finally got them! I picked up these two shades: "Pink Punch" and "Cherry me", one is pink, one is a little bit more redish. I love the fact that they moisturize your lips and in the same time give them a color, not that much but perfect for everyday. Right now I have only one lip balm, I wrote about it here and obviously it's not very handy to have it in your purse and reapply it during the day, so this is a great alternative :)

I want to make a review post about it but want to mention it here too. It's the perfect liquid eye liner for me. I tried about 4 different liner and this one is the best! I highly recommend it to everybody :)

I bought this iPhone cover here for only 2$ and I'm so happy with it! I didn't really expect a nice quality from this shop, I just wanted to change the cover for summer time, and I ended up loving it! The sides are so nice, the picture is bright like on the photo. One minus - the smell. It smells like very cheap Chine product(as it is, actually), but right now it's much better, I almost don't smell it anymore. So, it's a good cheap purchase ;)

And of course Ed Sheeran's new album "Multiply"/"X". As always, perfection. Just can't say anything else. If you still, for some mystical reasons, haven't heard it, go and do it right now! Just turn off the lights, turn on this amazing music, close your eyes and listen. Listen to the melody, listen to his incredible voice, listen to these magnificent lyrics, just sink(is this a right word?) in these melodies

That's it! What were your favourites this month?
Have a nice day :)

Drugstore foundation: do I have any problems with my skin or how hard to find a good foundation.

I'm this kind of girl who won't spend a tone of money on make up. But anyway, I like make up. So today I'd like to tell you about a foundation problem. I was trying to find a good new foundation for about 3 years, I guess. The first foundation I've ever tried was Maybelline Affinitone and it was great. Then I bought another pack of the same foundation, but it wasn't good. I decided to find smth new. Here're my last attempts(which I don't know why decided to save):

1. Maxfactor Smooth Effect in shade #55 Buff Beige
2. L'Oreal Alliance Perfect in shade #R3-C3 Rose Beige
3. Rimmel Stay Matte in shade #100 Ivory
4. Garnier BB Cream in shade "Light"
5. Maybelline BB Cream in shade "Light"

1. Maxfactor's foundation is old(I bought it without checking the date), so it's dry, looks and feels terrible on my skin, although the shade is pretty good for my complection. Unfortunately, no.

2. L'oreal's foundation is the best that I have right now. I heard about it on youtube and the girl said that it's pretty close to Bobbi Brown's one, so I went straight to the shop and bought it. I don't know if it's really close to Boobi Brown's one, but it works for me very well. Definitely yes.

3. Rimmel's foundation was good for some time, but then I didn't use any foundation for a month and when I tried this one on my face it looked aweful. I don't know what's happened to my skin, but it became dry, I had even some redness after applying it. After that I haven't use any of Rimmel's products for some time, but now I like this brand. But for foundations, no.

4-5. I definitely don't understand people who love BB creams. Or I have a weird type of skin that doesn't like such things, but I don't see any difference between when I apply BB creams and when I have nothing on my face. I tried these two several times, thinking that something can change, but no. It doesn't work for me. No.

I hope it can be useful for someone. Also, I'm always open for any suggestions :)
Have a good day :)
