Top 10 horror movies

Hi, humans!
I'm a huge fan of horror movies. I even didn't sleep tonight thinking about different type of films, I even made up my own like perfect horror story. This night actually inspired me to write this post :) Nowdays there are so many different films that you get confused when you try to find a good one. I've watched so many horror from all over the world so now it's difficult to make me surprised. But thanks God I've found some really good movies, in my opinion, and I want to share them with you. Just remember, it's just my opinion, I saw so many different lists of movies and I don't agree with most of them. So, this is just the list of movies I personally love and which scared me at least a little bit. So enjoy :)

10. Insidious Chapter 2 (2013)
Okay, number 10 is Insidious 2. Even though I believe that neither the first part nor the second one is scary but I liked the plot of the second chapter. I know that most of you doesn't agree with me, I heard people prefered the first one but it was rather boring for me. The second one at least has an interesting story, I believe. And also, I couldn't not to mention one of the most popular horror movies nowdays :)

9. The Skeleton Key (2005)
Again, I'm sure that most of you say it's not scary at all but the story! The idea is great, the ending was a shock for me, I didn't expect that and it made me scared a little. I always recommend this movie for everyone. It's creepy actually, maybe not very much but it is.

8. Don't be afrais of the dark (2011)
This list can't be without Guillermo del Toro's movies. This man knows how to make movies creepy. And this one is great as a horror story. Some intense moments, creepy little monsters, little girl who fights them and adults who don't believe her. Just really good. Actually it's not the scariest movies, for some people it won't be scary at all but it's still very interesting to watch. I personally love it.

7. The awakening (2011)
Oh how I love this movie! Such a good ghost story. Creepy, interesting, good atmosphere. I couldn't stop watching it even when I was thursty or hungry I couldn't press pause to leave this movies for even couple minutes. I was so curious what would happen next. Watch it if you haven't already, you won't regret it.

6. The woman in black (2012)
The first I need to say I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, it was a reason to watch this movie. In that time I wasn't into horror, it was the second horror movie I watched(the first was "Drag me to hell" (2009), I watched it in the cinema and didn't watch any horror until this one) and it was sooooo creepy for me in that moment. And Radcliff is a good actor no matter what. Even if he's forever Harry for me. It's a good ghost story, quite creepy, intense, but with a sad ending. Actually now, after watching so many movies, I think that horror movie with a good ending is not a horror movie, just remember it. That's the rule. With bad/sad endings I can watch only horror, not drama, I hate drama. Anyway this is a good movie.

5. The Orphanage (2007)
One more movie by Guillermo del Toro. There's no blood or jumpscares but it's still very creepy. That's what I call a good horror movie. And as I said Guillermo knows how to do a creepy thing. The only thing it's really sad story, I had such hard feelings after watching it. And it's hard to decide if the ending is good or not. Actually all his movies which I saw give such feelings... From one hand it's so sad, you even thing that it's unfair but from the other hand it's necessary, it's important for the story. Anyway, as a horror movie and as a movie in general, that's a really great one.

4. The Conjuring (2013)
That's a good kinda classic horror movie. Classic ghost story. The family moves to a new house and strange things happen. But it's soooo creepy. That's one of my all time favourites. Plus it's based on a true story. That always makes the movie even more scary. Plus the director, James Wan, made "Saw", the first one, the best one, one of my favourite movies, "Insidous", both, and the movie which is number 1 in my list, so he knows how to do creepy things.

3. Sinister (2012)
You'll find this movie in almost every horror movies rating because it's the great one. Sooo scary. I'm not sure if I ever watch it again because I'm still a little bit terriffyied. Altough in couple days my family will leave me all alone at home.. I think it's a great opportunity to rewatch this :) By the way, the story is great and the ending is soooooooo good. Really, watch it!

2. Chakushin ari or One missed call (2003)
As you can see it's the only japanese horror in my list. I think people overrate asian movies... I've watched the classic horrors like "Ringu" and "Ju-On: The Grunge" and I was soo disappointed. They're not that creepy as I expected. But this one I think people underrate. I watched it yesterday and I was scared. It hadn't happened for a long time, since I watched my number one movie in the list. It's really creepy and terriffying. My eyes were widely open for the most of the movie. I think it's the best japanese horror so far. And there's an american version of this movie. Haven't seen it but I heard it's not that bad.

1. The Dead Silence (2006)
Oh God, even poster gives me creeps. After watching this movie I started being afraid of dolls, especially that type which ventriloquists use. It's the creepiest movie I've seen so far. And I'm sure some people won't agree with me, my best friend who loves horror even more than me doesn't like this movie, she wasn't impressed but I was. Dolls are the most terriffying thing in the entire world... And there's a doll Billy here(if you don't know, Doll Billy is a doll from "Saw"), I was surprised to see it but now it doesn't seem strange because, as I said, it has the same director as the first "Saw". Anyway, the film is creepy, very creepy.

That's all for today. Hope you've found something to watch.
And I'll be glad to know about your favourite horror movies.
Have a nice day :)
Ciao!
